Description
Trumpet- mouthed lekythos with main zone decorated with three upright palmettes opposite handle with slender leaf between and to right of palmette at right; below broad stripe flanked by two narrow stripes lower body totally coated, stripe in center of exterior of foot; single stripe at juncture of body and shoulder above which lower band of longer stripes upper band of vertical stripes and back of handle solidly coated.
State of Preservation
Break at juncture of body and foot, upper part of neck and lip restored in plaster and painted. Some chipping of reserved and painted surfaces; staining on main body to right of handle. Most of paint worn off of body below handle to below right hand palmette.
