Description
Flaring mouth lekythos w lip coated inside & out, lower body & foot, exclusive of edge, & ext & sides of handle coated; main field on body bordered by narrow stripe above & below. On shoulder: 7-petalled palmette opposite handle v palmette flanked by men in profile in himatia. On body:
State of Preservation
Preserved upper 1/3, w large fragment fr rim separated fr rest; large part of upper body rest in painted plaster w figures added in black paint. Much dirt incrustation. Started to disintegrate in washing and left as became to serve as paedagogical exhibit.
